Wow, I am tired. Today I removed a tree stump from my Uncles yard. It provided a good four hours worth of fight, but in the end I prevailed! Now in its place is just dirt that is ready to be planted with grass.
As I was reviewing my blog I realized that I have not posted my trip I make every time I go up to the University. The University (marked as B on the map) is about 45 miles (70 km) away from my current residence (marked A). It takes between 1 hr 20 min - 2 hours depending on how well I catch the bus, train, and subway. Sometimes due to a late bus, or too many people I will miss a train or a bus will be too full... It has already happened on a couple occasions! So, to play it safe, I give myself 2 hours.
Notice all the islands on the map (click on the map for a larger image). I found out today that inner-city Stockholm is built on 14 separate islands. However, the area around Stockholm has about 30000 islands in total! There are day cruises that you can take that go around a bunch of the islands so you can enjoy the water and scenery. I think I will check one of these out next summer...
